Welcome to my blog!

Welcome to my blog Embrace, Thrive, Live.

My name is Dr. Sarah Meyer and I am excited that you have found me. I have been a wife for 14 years, hold my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and I am mother to four children ages 6, 5, 3.5, and 1.5.

My goal is to motivate you, inspire you, and help you find success in your health and fitness journey. I was a homeschool kid that started my journey when my parents joined a gym in my teenage years.

It was the origin of my love for all exercise. From fitness classes to lifting, racquetball to wallyball, and I even taught my own fitness classes with my twin sister.

In those defining moments I developed a true passion for all things that make you sweat.

I completed my undergraduate in Athletic Training, and after graduating from Physical Therapy school I specialized in geriatrics. I have worked with a wide variety of age groups and have loved it all.

Life hit hard shortly after the birth of my third child that I began to spiral down into depression and severe anxiety.

I lost my identity which caused every relationship in my life to suffer. It took two years of cycling through hills and valleys to finally reach my “this is enough” junction and decide it was time for a change.

It was that mountainous path of exhaustion, depression, anxiety, and despair that drew me close to God and the final decision to stop playing the victim and take care of my health and get my life back.

There are so many things I want to say, but today I want to tell you if you are lost, lonely, and feel like you are just surviving, you do not have to stay there.

As with anything, regaining your health will take time, intention, and focus. But I KNOW you are capable; it is a matter of believing and seeing your own strength and ability to do anything you set your mind to do.

I believe there are four foundations of health and fitness everyone needs to address to make lasting changes. Mental, Social, Nutrition, and Physical.

Join me as we dive into the nitty, gritty of exercise, eating, hormones, sleep, relationships, intentionality, mental health, and so much more to start your journey to realize your full potential.

I will be hammering the importance of God’s love, self-care, and how get back on track with exercise after babies, losses, or anything else that is restricting your full potential and the person you are designed to be!!
